Publish What You Pay Indonesia is a coalition of civil society for transparency and accountability in governance of extractive resources of oil and gas, mining and natural resources. PWYP Indonesia carry out the vision for the realization of good governance of extractive resources in Indonesia that is transparent, accountable, and in favor of the national interest that it becomes capital for welfare and social justice.

PWYP Indonesia has a purpose for the Advancement of extractive resource governance accountable and transparent in Indonesia and at the global level; To aggregate public interest from the point of view of civil society organizations, as well as Indonesia Strengthening the capacity of civil society to play an active role in the governance of sustainable extractive semberdaya.

PWYP Indonesia currently consists of 38 civil society organizations and non-governmental organizations from various regions in Indonesia, particularly in areas rich in natural resources of oil and gas, mining, forestry and other natural resources.

Established since November 2007, Indonesia has been since the beginning PWYP actively involved in campaigning for the extractive industry revenue transparency initiative (EITI), including encouraging the Government of Indonesia to follow the global EITI initiative. Advocacy resulted in the signing of Presidential Decree (Decree) No. 26 Year 2010 concerning the implementation of the EITI Indonesia.

Since then, Indonesia has been named a candidate country (candidate country) implementing EITI global standard to follow. Through regulation, the PWYP Indonesia then do the process of selecting three representatives of civil society to sit in The Implementing Team comprising representatives of the Government, Corporate and Civil Society. The three representatives of civil society is Faisal Basri (Economic UI), Maryati Abdullah (PWYP Indonesia) and Wasingatu Zakiyah (IDEA Yogyakarta).
