REGULATION OF THE PRESIDENT (Decree) No.26/2010

Transparency Revenues and Revenue gained from the Extractive Industries signed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on April 23, 2010.

This is a formal basis for the implementation of EITI in Indonesia with emphasis on the principles of the general welfare, good governance, transparency, sustainable development and the involvement of various stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, CSOs and businesses according to the principles and criteria of EITI.

Multi-stakeholder group in Indonesia manifested in a team that is governed by Presidential Decree No. 26 Year 2010, the Transparency Team. Transparency Team consists of the Steering and Implementation Team.

THE STEERING TEAM

Chaired by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, a member of the team is made up of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Finance, the Minister of Home Affairs, Chief BPKP, and Prof. Dr. Emil Salim. Steering Committee in charge of preparing general transparency of revenues and local revenues derived from extractive industries.Chairman of the Steering Committee to submit a report to the President on a regular basis at least once a year. Steering Team meeting implement at least once a year or at any time if needed.

THE IMPLEMENTATION TEAM

Implementation Team is responsible to the Steering Committee. Plan Implementation Team tasked Teamwork Transparency for a period of 3 (three) years and formatting reports; establish reconciler; disseminate the results of the reconciliation report; prepare a report to the President of the Steering Committee, and do the other things necessary to implement the transparency of revenues and earnings area obtained from extractive industries.

SECRETARIAT OF TRANSPARENCY TEAM

Secretariat tasked to help Tim Transparency in running functions required for the implementation of the EITI process. The Secretariat is headed by one Assistant Deputy for Energy, Natural Resources, and Environment.
